As an effort to prevent and control the 2019 virus disease in the local government, especially in the Kutai Timur district, the local government has enacted Regent Regulation Number 32 of 2020 concerning the application of employee discipline and law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control the 2019 corona virus disease. is to realize harmonization and vigilance in carrying out activities by enforcing health protocols for prevention and control of Covid-19 to achieve a new adaptation order of habits that are aware, smart, productive and safe from cofid-19, especially in the maritime and fisheries service of Kutai Timur district.The data analysis used is qualitative analysis by describing and analyzing the data obtained from resource persons in order to reveal events that occurred in the field.Based on the results of the research, it shows that the leadership role of the head of the Marine and Fisheries Service has been carried out well, according to the data obtained, it shows that every employee who carries out his duties has used personal protective equipment in the form of a mask that covers the nose and mouth to the chin, the provision of hand washing facilities. soap that meets standards or provides hand sanitizer, limits physical interaction, periodically cleans and disinfects the office environment, carries out self-isolation for employees who test positive for Couid-19 based on a determination from the Health Office or health center. Every employee who violates will be subject to a coaching sanction. Overall, the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is able to create a conducive atmosphere, so that work harmony and cooperation with other employees can work well together. Employee discipline policy implementation has been optimal in its implementation. The indication can be seen that there are no serious violations committed by employees.
